I recently sent out a Community Newsletter to all our current and new families with the registration links for both the Area and Local Practicums in June. I hope you were able to sign up for both or at least one!!
For the Local Practicum, Renee and I will be hosting together and would like to offer our current families childcare. If having childcare allows you to be there, please let us know so we can start planning. We will pay 2-3 teens to watch our kids and will split the cost per child.
Please get registered for Practicums soon!! They are coming up quick and if you’ve never been, it’s a great way to be enriched, encouraged and blessed!!
I just wanted to send everyone a quick message to let you know that registration is now open for the fall semester! Prior to applying, I’d like to do a family interview with you so I can learn how to best serve you this coming year. It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better and look forward to the upcoming school year together. Please click the link below and choose the day/time that works best for you and your spouse to meet via zoom with me to secure your spot for fall. If you prefer in person, I’m happy to arrange that as well. Following that interview, I will send out the application so you can enroll for the fall semester.
Lastly, we are having our Community Policy and Procedures handbook looked over at this time to be sure we are set for any laws changing to protect our families and community. You will receive an email prior to your interview, please look it over and have any questions ready.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!
I am so excited for the opportunity to serve our community next week!! Here are the details for the Cat Coalition.
I spoke with the Jean, the amazing lady in charge of the Cat Coalition today. She is so thrilled to have us come help!
Wednesday and Thursday are the two days they could use help next week. The time fram is 8:30A to 12:30P. I know this is when most of us like to get school in so I’m looking for families to volunteer and maybe be flexible to flip flop school this one week.
Which day is better for you? If we have enough families, it would be great to send some on both days to help. We will be cleaning litter boxes, wiping walls, weather permitted raking and picking up trash outside, and snuggling all the cats too!!!
If you have animal allergies, no worries! I’m speaking tomorrow with the Rice Lake principal to work out teacher cards and we do have Operation Christmas boxes to fold as well.
Please get back to me before Monday so I can confirm with Jean how many we will have each day to serve them!
Thank you for being excited with me and willing to serve our community!
Just a quick reminder that anyone who would like to bring treats for Valentines Day, we are bringing enough to share with our friends at lunchtime tomorrow. Please do not feel obligated to do this💗
We have 24 students plus 4 extra tomorrow with the Madrigal family joining us for Community Day. In the past some families have brought individual treats and others have brought a yummy dessert to share. Do whatever you’d like! It’s a great opportunity to show friends we care, bake for those who love to do that and deepen relationship.
Looking forward to seeing all your lovely faces tomorrow!
